Today I received another comment condemning my ‘broken english, bad spelling etc’.
For all my articles from Dec 07- April 08, I blogged using Singlish (goggle it if you don’t know it for goodness sake!!) as it is a habit for most people here to. And it is not, certainly not because I’ve a poor grasp of English.
Thus, ever since I received the first negative remark from a fellow WordPress blogger (who came from an English speaking country and takes pride in his first language), I decided to change my ways and started blogging in proper English so that I won’t be mistaken again.
I wouldn’t say that I’m very pleased with people who don’t find out the facts/reasons for themselves first and then go on doubting my English language ability. It just shows how shallow minded and ignorant some people are.
Anyway, I just deleted the comment without bothering to explain my reason for typing in bad English as such dimwits wouldn’t understand what am I talking about(I’ve tried before and that fellow WordPress blogger just went on with his crap).
P.S. It is a wonder what this world is made up of.
