I suddenly thought of just writing this down.
Why do I not post pictures of myself on my blog? Like cam-whore a lot, then photoedit them and upload them here for everyone’s “eye-candy” pleasure viewing.
IT’S JUST NOT ME.
I’m not fugly.
But neither do I like creating a blog primarily for showing off my looks and dress sense. I’d rather focus on the literary aspects and I strongly believe blogs can still be interesting without those cam-whore shots 
What’s the point of viewers exclaiming ‘awww she’s hot!’ or ‘wow! gorgeous babe!’? I’d rather they remember my blog as a place where they chance on something new/surprising/hilarious. That’s enough to make my day. I don’t need praises on my hair/smile/dress/shoe etc. Is that really so important? Where did your self-confidence go to?
Again I emphasise, it’s the written contents that matter, not all the narcissistic self-shots

P.S. Ah, you might say “but then you also post pictures of your nails!”. Yes I do, it’s just to “show off” once in a while. No harm right? I don’t do it for every single one of my blog articles.
