If you live life with so much expectations set largely by unjustifiable societal standards, then you ain’t living for yourself. You are just living a life to please others.

It is ‘privilege’ to be able to enjoy the finer things in life, but then that does not guarantee happiness everyday. And faking appreciation for them is definitely not being yourself too.
