Girl to Woman~

Away for awhile. Nah not physically away from home though (yeah I wish!).

Schedule is packed with work and school projects. 1 more month and I will have 1 less load (school, that is).

How is work so far? In my very honest opinion, quite boring as of now because I’m still dealing with the basics of administrative work :( However boring it may be, you still learn a lot, in terms of work skills like the ability to multi-task, prioritize, be meticulous and careful (because the work that you handle is gonna impact other departments- you wouldn’t want them to be chasing after you due to the careless errors that you made yeah?).

People around so far are alright :) Nothing negative as yet. Working in a non-corporate environment is truly a fun experience as you are able to see and understand the different functions working together- not something you can see in many other vocations. Hey it is really nice to go to a Hotel everyday! As I alight from the bus, the first thing I see every morning at 8AM would be happy people having their breakfast at the hotel cafe. A yummilicious start of the day (though sometimes I wish I can be one of them! Heh!) :)

P.S. I am thinking of going on a solo-trip after this internship which ends in January. Maybe a 4-day trip to Beijing? Coincides with the Lunar New Year. Will definitely be a special experience to spend CNY alone in China!

This quote is for my female friends.

“I like a woman that is very strong and that stands for herself. I like women that are powerful without losing their feminine, soft side or women that do not just rely on their soft side but are strong characters.”- Mario Testino

(Speaking of which, somehow now as a part-freshie just building my career path, I truly understand the need to be observant, ask intellectual questions, give constructive answers. And finally, to be able to make a judgement call for yourself. It really isn’t easy being a single girl who is moving on to being a woman.)
