When we were 12 years old~

There are somethings that cannot be replaced, as much as you try to.
Maybe some explanations are best left unknown, because the mystery of it is the beauty of it.
You’ll always be that somebody who sat in front of me… when we were 12 years old.
Spendings~

Once you start earning your own keep and Daddy gradually reduces your pocket money to $0, you will find yourself applying the P word very frequently to your monthly expenses.
P is for Prioritising.
This applies to the majority of us- the average middle income folks who in our lifetime, will very unlikely earn millions or billions. Therefore, it is important to know what you want and what you actually need. Some spend the bulk of their earnings on material goods, finer things in life- luxury cars, bags, clothes, jewelry and so on. Nothing wrong there, if buying these things make your day, then go ahead
As for me, yes I do love jewelry (Hehe! Bvglari rings are aesthically pleasing) too, but I am very much aware that material things don’t make my day. Because I always feel that these ‘goods’ are just physical items, nice to see, nice to own (to make you look upclass). However these items don’t bring longterm happiness or help in creating beautiful memories. I already know that as much hardwork and effort will I put in to earn a living, the motivation that pushes me (aside from work passion itself) is not being able to own many of such upclass materials but to actually to able to afford a house-using my own hardearn cash.
Everyone needs a house, a home, a shelter. And I would like to be able to reside in a comfty and safe high-rise apartment (nah I am not a landed-property person). Imagine that amount of satisfaction you will get, when you step into your own home, knowing that you are the one who paid for it, and not your parents
And I guess this shouldn’t be anything new, travelling comes as one of my ‘money spendage’ reasons. Now that I am starting to foot my own bills, I realize how expensive can travelling be! But it is worth it all
Money Matters!
September’s~

Hello everyone!
My first post for September 2010. Been busy as usual. Fruitful and blessed!
Despite working long hours to rush through projects (in which I doubt I did a good job, sighs!) after working full days, I don’t exactly feel exhausted or on the verge of giving up. One has got to be mentally strong too
Thank you to my close friends and my parents for their unselfish and dear support for the past 1 week!
Whilst shopping for a blusher last week at M.A.C Cosmestics (in which I bought a limited nude shade called “Happy Together”- what a lovely name!), the sales told me of their Back to M.A.C Program whereby you can bring back 6 old/unused/unwanted M.A.C items to exchange for 1 lipstick of your choice. Sounds like a real good deal eh? This is one of their “Giving Back” programs, where M.A.C supports recycling of their packaging as part of their commitment to environment causes.
Hence I manage to dig out 6 old items and happily got myself a new pink lippy (‘Giddy’ from the Lustre range)!
Yesterday I just realized that a picture of me with my China trip friends is used in the SIM Experience Global Education brochure. Feels like a star! (^-^) If you are in my FB list you should know which picture am I referring to. Hahaha. This one was actually taken in Nanjing, in a placed called Zhou Zhuang, on the first day of the trip (which is also my first day in China!).
Alright, back to work. I will still be blogging (of course), once school lessons end, I’ll update more frequently.
P.S. Happy to know you
